  1. I always assumed Sallahdor told Mel that Davos was talking about killing her in private when he found Davos…like to save his own ass. Then Mel just claims she saw it in the flames. Figured the same happened in the prologue with Cressen and Pylos. The latter told Mel and Stannis that Cressen had poison on his desk, and was probably planning to use it. Again Mel just claims to have seen Cressen’s intentions in the flames….am i wrong to think any of this could be the case?

  2. …Sallahdor seemed very concerned over the ritualistic burnings happening at Dragonstone and had technically fled after Blackwater – tho not a sworn bannerman. He prob wanted to make sure he wasnt next to burn.
